Hello to all the fans! This is Lidiia @scrap_in_memory_ with you today, and I’d like to share a card with a gentle Provence-inspired mood, along with a step-by-step tutorial on how to create it.

Provence mood card with Dried Lavender Embossing Powder

Ось історія створення цієї листівки крок за кроком:

1. Для початку я вирізала основу своєї листівки з білого кардстоку від WOW розміром 14,5*14,5 см.
2. Наступним кроком було вирізання основи зі скраппаперу у цьому випадку я вибрала романтичну колекцію Lavender від Stamperia. Також від цього виробника я зробила відливки з глини для своєї роботи.
3. Наступний крок додавання основі певної текстури за допомогою текстурної моделюючої пасти від Finnabair, після цього я просушила її і завдяки штемпельним подушкам від Ranger в кольорах milled lavender і dusty concord я добавила фіолетового відтінку пасті, щоб вона не виділялась з загальної колірної гами, а також змішуючи ці відтінки інків я підтонувала і фігурки з молдів для роботи.
4. Після цього як робота з фонами листівки була завершена і приклеїна до основи, я приступила до вирубки елементів у вигляді листочків і ажурної рамки також з білого кардстоку. Далі я покрила всю вирубку новинкою від WOW Dried Lavender, яка просто ідеально підійшла мені під цю роботу, створюючи і текстуру і блиск і приголомшливі акценти на вирубці.
5. Наступний етап це складання композиції і не забуваючи, що ближче до основи ми розташовуємо найбільші за розміром елементи, а також чередуючи їх між собою то гіпсові деталі, то скрап висічки з колекції, то вирубка з ембосингом, а також квіти з тканини і для цієї роботи я обрала сізаль, який додав свіжості і елегантності в роботі.
6. Заключним етапом я вирішила добавити камінці від Prima, арт стоуни і звісно ж трішки блиску від неперевершених Earth Sparkles у кольорі Magenta, адже хто сказав що до Провансу не можна добавляти блиску?)
7. І самий заключний етап це додавання білих бризгів для більшої приглушеності всіх відтінків і поєднання все в одну гармонійну і ніжну композицію.

І на останок саме основне при створенні роботи – це бути натхненним від пудри, від кольору, від текстури, від колекції і кожна робота буде створюватись з легкістю і з неймовірним захватом від кінцевого результату. І саме головне – не бійтесь експериментувати і виходити за межі комбінування різних текстур, різних елементів, різних технік між собою і не забувайте експериментувати з різними видами пудр і блискіток WOW, адже вони вартують того!!!

English Translation:

Here’s the step-by-step story of how this card was created:

1. To start, I cut the base of my card from white cardstock by WOW, measuring 14.5 × 14.5 cm.
2. The next step was cutting the base from scrapbook paper. In this case, I chose the romantic Lavender collection by Stamperia. I also made clay casts for my project using moulds from the same brand.
3. The next step was adding texture to the base using Finnabair’s modeling paste. After drying it, I added a purple tint to the paste using Ranger ink pads in the colors Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord so that it would blend with the overall color scheme. I also used a mix of these ink shades to add subtle tones to the clay shapes made from moulds for the project.
4. After finishing the background and adhering it to the card base, I moved on to die-cutting elements in the shapes of leaves and a lacy frame, also from white cardstock. Then, I covered all the die-cuts with WOW’s new Dried Lavender, which was perfect for this project, adding texture, shine, and stunning highlights to the die-cut pieces.
5. The next stage was assembling the composition. Keeping in mind that the largest elements should be placed closer to the base, I alternated between different pieces: clay details, scrapbook die-cuts from the collection, embossed die-cuts, and fabric flowers. For this project, I chose sisal, which added freshness and elegance to the card.
6. For the final touch, I decided to add Prima say it crystals, art stones, and, of course, a bit of sparkle from the amazing Earth Sparkles in Magenta — because who says you can’t add some sparkle to Provence?
7. And the very final step was adding white splatters to soften all the shades and tie everything together into one harmonious and delicate composition.

And finally, the most important thing when creating a project is to be inspired — by the powders, the colors, the textures, the collection — and each piece will come together effortlessly, bringing incredible joy with the final result. Most importantly, don’t be afraid to experiment and go beyond combining different textures, elements, and techniques, and don’t forget to play with the various types of WOW powders and sparkles, because they are absolutely worth it!
