Since it will be Halloween tomorrow, I decided to make a themed card. Here is the step by step:

First I placed the little witch from Sweet November Stamps ‘Hair Scare’ in my Misti and with the Black Tuxedo Memento ink, I made my first stamp. I next ran the WOW! Embossing pen over the edges of the stamp where I knew I wanted to heat the emboss (the witch’s hat and hair) and then stamped it for the second time. Next I poured ‘Persian Indigo’ powder and heat embossed using the Dual Speed Heat Tool from WOW!. Once set, I colored in the image using Copics alcohol ink markers.

Background

For the background, I used the ‘Bat Cave’ stencil from Carta Bella and heat embossed it with the ‘Black Twinkle’ powder on watercolor paper. Then I sprinkled Lindys Gang Magicals in ‘Alien Goo Green’, ‘Outer Space Aqua’, and ‘Martian Magenta’, then sprayed some water and waited for the “magic”reaction.

From a torn piece of vellum I heat embossed the sentiment using the ‘Black Twinkle’ powder and…TADAHHH!…the result is a card with the classic Halloween colors!
