Sympathy Card Using Twinkly Fizz Trio

Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hello! My name is Theary from @cloudycoraldesigns, and I am so happy to be on the blog again today.

Today for Creative Coloring with Theary, I am featuring the beautiful embossing trio inspired by Sara Naumann. I love this set’s colors and wanted to showcase it as best as possible.

I am using a Bed of Roses Layering Stencil from Trinity Stamps to start my project. I taped the first layer to my work surface over a piece of white cardstock. I then used WOW! Clear Embossing Ink to apply directly to the open areas of the stencil. Then, I removed the stencil and sprinkled the embossing Powder in the color Minty Twinkle WS381R onto the inked area. And I heated it with my heat tool until it was nice and melty.

I repeated the step with the next layer using a combination of Strawberry Sparkle WS383R and Grape Fizz WS382R.

I love how it looks, but I wanted to give the card more interest. I used Trinity Stamp- Slimline Burst Builder Die Set and ran the inked blended panel through my die-cutting machine. I wanted to color the white areas, so I went in with Trinity Stamps-Blending Buddy and inked on Catherine Pooler Inks.

I adhered all the pieces down to a white-colored cardstock with foam squares. Then added vellum clouds that I died cut from a Puffy Cloud die set. I added a sentiment strip from Taylored Expressions and a white frame onto the card panel.

Finally, I added some embellishments throughout the card panel.
