Hello crafty friends! Peggy here with a new blog post as a creative guest for WOW embossing!
Let me show you how I made this card!
I started with a white standard size card base. I cut a panel slightly smaller than the card base from the 6×6 Stripe Splash paper pad by My Favorite Things, but you can use any patterned paper you like.
Next, I used an inside out stitched rectangle die to cut the front panel from Kraft cardstock. I used Distress Ink in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo to darken the top part of the panel. In the middle, I ink blended a brick wall pattern with white pigment ink (I use Memento Luxe).
Next, I cut an identical panel using a piece of Lawn Fawn Knock on Wood 6×6 patterned paper and cut it down to make a table top/window sill. I used the Lawn Fawn Virtual Friends Add-On stamp set, WOW embossing ink, WOW heat tool and WOW embossing powder in Opaque Bright White Super Fine to add my sentiment at the top of the panel.
Then it was time for the stars of the show! This build a succulent die set from Lawn Fawn is just too adorable. I wanted to showcase the WOW embossing Marion Emberson ‘Dappled Effects’ trio on my three little pots.
I cut all the pieces for the pots and added WOW embossing ink to them with a clean ink blending foam. I used inverted tweezers to hold my pieces as I covered them in powder and melted it with the heat tool. I used a variety of scraps of colored cardstock for my succulents and added some light ink blending on them to create some depth. I added them to my card and called it done!
