Hi everyone! It’s Laura on the WOW embossing blog today with a fun video tutorial for you showing you how you can use all those coloured card scraps with the new Pastel Pearls Trio of embossing powders to create different effects.
Use your scraps with the pastel pearls embossing powder trio
For todays video I dug out some coloured and metallic card stock scraps and used each of the pastel pearl embossing powders on them to see how they looked different depending on the colour or type of card I used. Some of the results surprised me! For example, metallic card stock because a pearlescent matte colour, and using the hint of pink and blue on red card stock brought out purple tones. This was really fun to do!
Once I had heat set all of the panels with the pastel pearl embossing powders I then die cut some birds from them. I dry embossed two panels of card for my backgrounds and then I also dry embossed the heat embossed birds too for a double embossed effect! This added some extra interest. I then popped all the birds on foam tape and layered them up on my card panel.
For my sentiment; I used the Polished Silver on the navy blue card and I used Polished Gold on the pink card. Really hope you like them!
