Пудри допомогли створити той самий ефект “вау” – делікатне сяйво, текстури і виразний малюнок, який підкорює з першого погляду.
Hello to all the fans, and today Lidiia @scrap_in_memory_ is with you. Today I want to share with you an exquisite card, “You Are the King,” which combines shine, elegance, and sophistication. The powders helped create that very “wow” effect — a delicate shimmer, rich textures, and an expressive design that captivates at first glance.
Elegant card ”You are the King”
Покроковий процес створення:
- Виріж основу для листівки зі щільного чорного кардстоку, розміром 14,5*14,5 см. Нижній шар основи я протиснила за допомогою папки для тиснення від Altenew.
- Наступним кроком було зроблено малюнок квадратів за допомогою прозорої пудри і трафарету, що допомогло зімітувати шахматну дошку.
- Далі моїм кроком була – вирубка з чорного кардстоку шахових фігур ножами від Altenew. Частину фігур я покрила пудрами від WOW в кольорах Amethyst Galaxy, Clear Gloss і Polished Silver.
- Далі я зробила акцент на ключовій фігурі Короля у моїй композиції і добавила тексури за допомогою частинок Silver Glass, які саме зробили той елемент просто таки ”вау” ефектом, що добавило контрасту у монохромність.
- Наступний етап це складання композиції – розмістити шахові фігури в ряд, накладаючи їх одна на одну та чередуючи між собою за відтінками. Використовуйте об’ємний скотч для створення глибини та ефекту сцени.
- Заключним етапом було додавання напису ”You are the King” за допомогою прозорої пудри Clear Gloss для підкреслення саме головного героя в цій листівці.
- І самий заключний етап перевірити баланс композиції, додати дрібні глітерні акценти за потреби – але водночас залишити повітря, щоб листівка виглядала стильно та впевнено.
І ось твій результат: стильна, глибока листівка з характером, де чорний колір, текстури та ембосинг WOW! працюють разом і підсилюють головне повідомлення – ти король.

English Translation:
Here’s the step-by-step creation process:
- Cut the card base from heavy black cardstock, measuring 14.5 × 14.5 cm. I embossed the bottom layer of the base using an Altenew embossing folder.
- The next step was creating a square pattern using clear embossing powder and a stencil, which helped imitate a chessboard.
- Then I die-cut chess pieces from black cardstock using Altenew dies. Some of the pieces were heat-embossed with WOW! powders in Amethyst Galaxy, Clear Gloss, and Polished Silver.
- Next, I placed emphasis on the key figure—the King—in my composition and added texture using Silver Glass fragments, which created a true “wow” effect and added contrast to the monochrome design.
- The following stage was assembling the composition: arranging the chess pieces in a row, layering them on top of one another and alternating their shades. Use foam tape to create depth and a stage-like effect.
- The final step was adding the sentiment “You Are the King” using Clear Gloss embossing powder to highlight the main character of the card.
- And the very last step is to check the balance of the composition and add small glitter accents if needed—while still leaving some negative space so the card looks stylish, clean, and confident.
And here is your result: a stylish, deep card with character, where black color, textures, and WOW! embossing work together to enhance the main message — you are the king.
