In todays tutorial I have a BRIGHT AND BOLD Floral Card to share with you using the NEW Seth Apter Citrus QUAD Embossing Powders and some dry embossing techniques with stencils!
How to Create OUR BRIGHT AND BOLD Floral Card
- Using the Dancing Smoke Stencil use your impressions pad and plate to create a dry embossed background.
- Heat emboss strips of white card with all four of the Citrus Quad powders. Overlap some of the colours so you get some variation on your panels.
- Die cut flowers and leaves from the heat embossed card strips.
- Stamp your sentiment onto the background using a stamping platform to ensure clear stamping as the background is already embossed. (You could stamp your sentiment before dry embossing if you wish!)
- Attach your panel to a mat layer of coloured card and then attach it to your card blank.
- Arrange the flowers and leaves and glue them in place. Add foam tape if you want dimension.
- Add a few gems to finish!
