Hello fellow crafters! I am Alexandra of @rookiecardmaker and I am so excited to be here as a Guest Designer for August! Keep reading to find out how I created this bright and sparkly card!

To start off I ink blended a piece of cardstock using a cloud stencil and three shades of pink. Then I used a rainbow die to cut a window in my card front panel. I backed the rainbow window with acetate and added foam tape around it.

Now comes the star of the show! I poured some of the beautiful Cotton Candy Sparkler glitter onto the cloud background and lined up the rainbow window with it before adhering it down.

Next I finished the card by adding some stamped and fussy cut clouds and a heat embossed sentiment strip. This is a perfect project if you like the look of glitter but not the mess! Because all the glitter is behind the acetate window, you get all the sparkle but none of the mess!
I filmed a little reel showing how this card came together. You can really see how pretty the Cotton Candy Sparkler is when I shake the card!
