How to Use Earth Sparkles — Technique Ideas
Here are a few ways to incorporate Earth Sparkles into your projects.
1. Mix with Embossing Paste for Texture
Spread embossing paste thinly or thickly, then sprinkle Earth Sparkles over the wet paste. Press lightly or leave it raised. This brings sparkle into texture.
2. Custom Glitter Mixes
Combine Earth Sparkles with embossing powders (e.g., Metallics or Clear) in a jar using a metal spoon (never plastic) to create your own blend.
3. Adhesive & Die-Cut Embellishments
Apply strips or shapes of strong adhesive tape, or cover cardstock with a sheet of double-sided adhesive before die-cutting. Then press Earth Sparkles into the sticky surface for a perfectly sparkling embellishment or sentiment. It’s a brilliant way to get precision sparkle exactly where you want it.
4. Use As Shaker Elements
Add Earth Sparkles into shaker windows for a fun, interactive WOW! The glitters catch the light beautifully as they move, creating an extra dose of magic for your cards and tags. Mix and match colours for even more dimension.
