Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Happy Wednesday Darlings! It’s Jo here from @havefaithincards to show off some Halloween tags created using WOW! Embossings/Funky Fossils newly released ‘Summer Twilight’ trio. Have you managed to check out this amazing set of powders? Whilst these powders can be used for a range of crafty projects, they are the perfect colours for Halloween, so I couldn’t resist creating some cute tags for the season.
- 1. Taking three scrap pieces of paper, I inked each one up with WOW!’s ‘Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Ink’, and sprinkled each powder onto a card and set into place using the ‘Dual Speed Heat Tool’. The colours from the Summer Twilight Trio are; ‘Lavender Fields’, ‘Blackberry’, and ‘Verdant’. Then taking some tag dies, I ran the embossing card and die together through my die cut machine.
2. I used the following stamp sets from Clearly Besotted to decorate each tag; ‘Out of This World’ and ‘An Open Book’, to decorate each tag. For the sentiments, I used black cardstock, and embossed them using ‘Opaque Bright White’ powder.
3. I assembled each tag, using a different layout for tag, and finished off by embellishing them with some sequins and jewels for the final touch.
