Hey crafty friends 🥰! I wanted to share this fun fold anniversary card with y’all! This card has a floating image and sentiment in the open window that adds a little extra surprise. 🤗
I made my patterned paper with the “Love” stamp from Love Sentiments stamp set from WOW! and heat embossed with Dappled Effects Trio embossing powders from WOW! alternating the colors then heat -set. I used Hero Arts Nesting Heart dies to cut the window from the patterned paper.
Fun fold:
Die cut a window using a nesting rectangular die set from a note card measuring at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. Score open window @ 2 1/8 inches and fold in half. Attach panel with open heart window to the bottom half of the 2 1/8 fold using liquid adhesive.
Die cut 4 smaller hearts from the nesting die set and adhere them together using liquid adhesive. Center stacked heart behind the floating image to use as a stopper for the easel fold.
Floating image:
Use double sided tape to attach a piece of acetate to center of open window measuring @ 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.
Adhere the heart that was used to die cut window to center of open window using a glue dot or double sided tape.
