Teacher Appreciation Card

Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hello! Welcome to Creative Colouring with Theary! Today, I am excited to share a teacher appreciation card.

I love how the embossed background brings out the embossed details of the sentiments. I used blue and red pigment ink to ink the background stamp from Ink Blot Shop called Stripes & Stars. I then poured WOW! Embossing Powder in Clear Sparkle and melted that using my Dual Heat Tool. I love how this embossing powder can make dull ink look amazing with tons of sparkle. I later ran the card panel using the Fluted Classic Rectangle from Spellbinders to give the card panel more interest.

Using a mustard-colored cardstock, I used a stitched border die to create stitching marks all over the card panel. I then used clear embossing ink and inked up the two sentiments in WOW! Embossing Powder- Primary Ebony.

For the cute little apple, I stamped the apple stamp from Ink Blot Shop- Fruit Salad. I love this layering fruit set. It makes it easy to create adorable fruits without coloring the images with markers or colored pencils. I stamped one of the layering stamps using clear embossing ink and heat set WOW! Embossing Powder in the color Primary Apple Red.

I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details to the apple. I then adhered it to a top folding card base.
