Women In The City Sparkle Cards

Ось мій покроковий посібник по створенню листівок з блиском і текстурою:

1. Для основи листівок я беру білий кардсток від WOW, який ідеально бігується і гарно тримає форму. Основа листівок розміром 11*16 см. Також кардсток я використовую для вирубки елементів і шаблону листівки.
2. Далі я вирізала шаблони для своєї майбутньої листівки ножами від Studio Light і при вирізанні ножами деякі частини я залишила з білого кардстоку, щоб в подальшому їх можна було покрити ембосингом. Також при вирізанні я чередувала слої так щоб спочатку був скрап папір, тоді ембосинг і знов скрап папір.
3. Далі шаблон листівки я покрила пудрами для ембосингу з серії Ultra High кольорами Fired Copper і Primary in The Navy. Зверніть увагу, що так як шаблон доволі великий по розміру – я покривала пудрою для ембосингу мінімум 2 рази для кращого ефекту і більшої текстури.
4. Наступний мій крок – це склеювання шаблонів листівки і кріплення їх до основи листівки.
5. Далі я всю свою вирубку, яку планую використовувати в роботі покриваю за допомогою пудр для ембосингу. Зверніть увагу, що серія Ultra High на білому і чорному кардстоці виглядає по-різному. Тому вибирайте кардсток для ембосингу з урахуванням цих нюансів. Так як темно-синій колір на білому кардстоці буде виглядати темно-синім, то на чорному він буде виглядати чорним з легким синім переливом. Для своєї роботи я використовувала пудри Primary in The Navy, Fired Copper, Rusty Keys.
6. Після того, як усі елементи покриті і висушені з феном – я додаю деякого переливу своїм елементам. А саме в деяких місцях на декількох елементах я додаю блискітки. Таким чином я створюю свій певний блиск і текстуру декільком елементам. Для кольору пудри Мідь я використовувала Earth Sparkle Copper, тоді як для темно-синього кольору я використовувала колір блискіток Navy.
7. Наступний етап створення композиції листівки. А тут я вже намагаюсь чередувати свої елементи послідовно. Тобто я розташовую елементи з розрахунку від більшого до найменшого, а також чередую між собою елементи такі як паперові висічки з колекції, вирубка з ембосингом, квіти з тканини.
8. Заключним етапом у роботі виступають топінги. Так в цих листівках мені захотілось добавити паєтки саме синього кольору, щоб підтримати загальну колірну гамму листівок і ще добавити трішки різних розмірів арт-стоунів. І в самому кінці я злегка посипаю свою роботу тими ж самими кольорами Earth Sparkle для з’єднання все в цілісну і гармонійну картинку.

Here’s my step-by-step guide to creating my cards with shine and textures:

1. For the card bases, I use white cardstock from WOW, which scores perfectly and holds its shape well. The size of the card bases is 11*16 cm. I also use this cardstock for die-cutting elements and the card template.
2. Next, I cut out templates for my future card using dies from Studio Light. While die-cutting, I left some parts in plain white cardstock so that I could later cover them with embossing powder. I also alternated the layers so that there was scrapbooking paper first, then an embossed layer, and then scrapbooking paper again.
3. Then I covered the card template with embossing powders from the Ultra high series in the colors Fired Copper and Primary In The Navy. Note that because the template is quite large in size, I applied the embossing powder at least twice for a better effect and more texture.
4. My next step was gluing the card templates together and attaching them to the card base.
5. After that, I covered all the die-cuts I planned to use in the project with embossing powders. Keep in mind that the Ultra High series looks different on white and black cardstock. So, choose your embossing cardstock accordingly. For example, the Primary In The Navy on white cardstock will appear as dark blue, while on black cardstock, it will look black with a subtle blue shimmer. For my project, I used the powders Primary In The Navy, Fired Copper and Rusty Keys.
6. After all the elements are covered and dried with a heat gun, I add a bit of shimmer to them. Specifically, I apply glitter in certain areas on a few elements to create extra sparkle and texture. For the copper embossing powder, I used Earth Sparkle Copper, while for the Primary in the Navy color, I used Navy Earth Sparkle.
7. The next step is creating the card composition. Here, I try to alternate my elements in a balanced sequence. I arrange them from the largest to the smallest and mix different types of embellishments – such as paper die-cuts from the collection, embossed die-cuts, and fabric flowers.
8. The final step is adding toppings. For these cards, I wanted to use blue sequins to match the overall color palette, and I also added a few different sizes of art stones. At the very end, I lightly dusted the whole piece with the same Earth Sparkles colors to bring everything together into a cohesive and harmonious design.
